4:00pm: TEAMS: Brighton & Hove Albion: Ryan, Veltman, White, Webster, Dunk, March, Bissouma, Alzate, Lallana, Maupay, Trossard. Chelsea: Kepa, James, Clarke-Salter, Christensen, Alonso, Kante, Kovacic, Ziyech, Lotus Cheek, Hudson-Odoi, Werner.
5:02pm: Chelsea get us underway at the Amex.
5:02pm: James has a shot drift wide.
5:03pm: A teasing cross from Brighton after some good link up between Lallana and Veltman.
5:04pm: GOAL! Werner has got his debut goal for Chelsea. Brighton waited for the offside call but it didn't come after a deep ball from Hudson-Odoi.
5:07pm: March wins a free kick.
5:08pm: March puts a good ball in and Dunk gets his head on the ball but it goes over.
5:09pm: Good play from Brighton and they earn a corner.
5:10pm: March's ball in is deflected to Alzate and he puts the ball in and Kepa collects the header.
5:11pm: Trossard gets the ball back and plays it to Bissouma in the middle and he then plays it wide to March. He has a shot but it's wide.
5:12pm: James plays the ball to Werner and then to Ziyech and his shot is low and collected by Ryan.
5:14pm: Alzate plays an excellent ball to Trossard over the top and he cuts it back to March. It's then played to Lallana and Trossard again but the attack fizzles out.
5:17pm: Great tackle from Bissouma to stop Hudson-Odoi's run.
5:20pm: Chelsea have had the recent spell of possession with Brighton's defence doing well to stop them. Good tackles from Alzate and White.
5:23pm: Trossard makes a good run and then it's Lallana to Alzate. He makes a good run but it is deflected out.
5:25pm: Good defending from White after Chelsea break and he stood up to Ziyech and forced Chelsea to go backwards.
5:26pm: Lallana gives away a foul.
5:27pm: Ziyech puts the free kick in and Werner heads it over.
5:29pm: Trossard claims a penalty but the referee disagrees.
5:30pm: Ziyech plays the ball to Hudson-Odoi and he shoots but Ryan gets his hand on it.
5:32pm: Bissouma is fouled.
5:35pm: Good ball from Alonso to Ziyech but he's offside.
5:35pm: Alonso receives a yellow card after fouling Veltman.
5:37pm: Alzate does well to stay on his feet and plays it to Lallana who is then fouled.
5:39pm: Ziyech plays a good diagonal ball to Hudson Odoi. It plays across the field and James crosses it low into the box to Werner but it's dealt with well by Brighton.
5:43pm: Alzate fouls James.
5:46pm: Werner gets a brilliant ball over the top and White deals with it well.
5:46pm: HALF-TIME: Good first half from Chelsea. They have had more positive possession and looked very threatening with Ziyech and Werner linking up. Brighton have had sparks of good play but didn't start well which Chelsea took advantage of. Alzate and White have been bright for the Albion.
6:05pm: Second half has started.

6:07pm: Dunk wins a penalty from the corner after Rudiger fouls him.

6:47pm: Good set piece chance. MacAllister puts the ball in and it's headed over.

6:49pm: GOAL! Gross steps over it and puts it in the goalkeeper's left corner. Precise penalty gives Brighton the equaliser.
6:50pm: Sanchez makes a good save after Giroud's effort.
6:51pm: 5 minutes added.
6:51pm: Giroud is down injured.
6:54pm: CHELSEA SUBSTITUTION: Giroud off for Castillo.
6:54pm: Good move by Chelsea. Ball over the top to McCormick and he tries to cut it back but it's dealt with well by the defence.
6:55pm: FULL-TIME: Both teams were evenly matched. Both sides were threatening and did well defensively. Both teams had periods of dominance. Brighton missed a penalty and scored another one. Chelsea did well to take their goal after a defensive mistake. The man of the match was hard to chose. Brighton's man of the match was White. He did well today defensively and his passes forward were key. Chelsea's man of the match was Werner. He was constantly a threat and did well to get back to and defend when needed.
